ChatGPT is growing more and more popular with students at all levels, mainly due to its ease of use and the quality of the output. An email, a blog entry or a discursive essay can be created at a snap of a finger without any effort on the side of the learner, usually exceeding their competence level or cognitive ability. Stigmatized as it is, the tool can be used effectively as a pedagogic tool to enhance student writing, increase their awareness of the process or to enlarge their lexicogrammatical stock. In this session I will demonstrate some practical implications of using ChatGPT in the classroom context.
